Aims of Drama
Drama is introduced to break down the barriers. Drama is an effective way to teach children how to think creatively and interact socially, which is vital for their cognitive, social and most importantly emotional development.
Drama assists in the development of;
The use of imagination
Decision making and problem-solving
Understanding of self and others &
Sense of worth and respect
Aims of music
We aim to enrich children’s lives through music. Music provides opportunities for children to listen, participate, engage and feel motivated. The children will experience beat and rhythm and will recite songs expanding their long-term memory.
Music helps; create a beautiful bond between parent, child, and teacher. It ignites all areas of child development and skills for school readiness; intellectual, social and emotional, motor, language and overall literacy. Exposing children to music during early development helps children learn sounds and meanings of words.
The biggest gift we can offer is a curriculum which supports and extends knowledge and skills.
The curriculum used sets standards from the Early Years Foundation stage (EYFS)
